The schools in Yap proper have organized several activities for the celebration.
The activities will begin at 9:30 a.m. with a march from the Colonia Community Center and around the Chamorro
Bay before returning back to the community center. The program will also include the awarding of the essay contest winners.
State government officials that will be on hand to assist the students will include Yap Gov. Sebastian Anefal who will be giving remarks during the ceremony.
Students from SDA school will also perform at the community center.
