George Villasan along with his teammate Dave Demapan ignited the winning momentum for team X after Villasan connected 8 points while teammate Demapan scored 6 in the first ten minutes of the game while Lamberto Omampo of the Brotherhood was only able to bucket 4 points.
By the end of the first quarter team X blew a deep crevice between the two teams by 13 points, 24-11.
In the second quarter of the game Villasan was able to score another 6 points for team X whilst teammates Dave Camacho and John Guerrero scored 4 points a piece respectively to widen the 13 point gap to an even wider 20 point gap by half time, 43-23.
Both teams anticipated the second half of the game and entered the bout with strong spirits. Noel Conti of the Brotherhood pounded 7 points upon entering the second half of the game in his herculean attempt to close the gap.
Conti did not work alone as teammate Lamberto Omampo jumped into the wagon by contributing his five pence to the team’s side of the scoreboard.
Unfortunately for the Brotherhood team X had an answer to this calling as team players Dave Camacho scored 5 point to answer Omampo’s five pence while teammate Danielo Maliadem chipped in his 4 points to stay ahead of the Brotherhood and keep their 20 point lead, 62-42.
Both teams entered the last quarter of the game fiercely but fatigue got the better hold of the Brotherhood.
Lamberto Omampo and Noel Conti each bucketed 8 points in their heroic feat to close the gap in the last 10 minutes of the game with the clock ticking by really quickly.
But John Guerrero scored another 6 points for the team working with his other team members to pull in a total of 15 points in the final minutes of the debut game. Team X secured their lead by 14 points to firmly grip a 77-63 deficit.
