Terry was recommended by her supervisor, Jamika Reyes. According to Reyes, Terry shows excellent productivity and efficiency by enthusiastically utilizing what she learns on the floor. She has a very friendly approach, and is always seen with a smile and a spring in her step when assisting her customers. When service is needed in other departments, Terry is one of the first ones there to assist. In addition, she shows outstanding teamwork especially when it comes to maintenance and scheduling. Whenever she notices that something needs to be done, she takes initiative to do it and does not wait for others to do it. As for scheduling, she is always available and open to changing her schedule or shift when her teammates need specific days off. Terry displays positive traits and qualities and is an outstanding SA. Terry was hired in July 2008.
Pangelinan was nominated by his manager, Boyet Marcelo Centeno. A lot of display changes were completed in our store lately, and Pangelinan was the one who contributed to this with his hard work and dedication. He has an excellent sense for visually appealing set ups, and it is amazing how wonderfully he accomplishes his job. He needed to come back to work late at night to make sure all furniture and other displays were in the right places, but he did not mind the extra work to make the store look good. He does all his work with high responsibility and does not require much supervision. Pangelinan has been with DFS since November 1999.
Both employees received a framed employee of the month certificate, a $50 gift certificate, and will have lunch with the DFS Saipan president and the general manager/AGM. They are now eligible candidates for the 2010 DFS Employee of the Year Award in their respective categories.
