Mori attended a business meeting with Masayoshi Son, president of Softbank. He also presided over a three-hour long seminar on FSM for potential Japanese investors, representing more than 100 companies based in Japan. This event was followed by a reception at the Royal Park Hotel in celebration of the 24th FSM National Independence Day.
Today, Mori will meet with the governor of Kochi, Mr. Ozaki. The next morning, Mori will be meeting the vice chairman of the Kochi Chamber of Commerce; and in the evening, he will have a bilateral working dinner with the state minister of foreign affairs, Mr. Banno.
Mori will end his trip with a visit at Nihon University, on Friday, where he will be giving a statement to the students about “the adverse impact from global warming on the environment and on the lives of the people of FSM.”
