Glushko’s spectacular holiday performance

“The Nutcracker” and “Concert of International Ballet Stars” will feature world class top international ballet stars from Russia, Japan and Korea.

Performances are scheduled for Dec. 10 and 11, Friday & Saturday, at the amphitheater of American Memorial Park. Shows will start promptly every night from 7 p.m.  The doors will open at 6:30 p.m.

“This year,” Glushko said, “we will have the very famous Russian professional Alexey Nasadovich, who have also performed for us in the past. He is currently working as ballet principal for the world class Yekaterinburg’s Ballet in Russia. Graciously and due to his love for Saipan, he has again agreed to fly over 10,000 miles just to perform for our community. His stage and life partner and wife  Margarita Rudina is not coming this time as her ballet company is on a Russian tour.”

This December, Glushko added, Alexey will be dancing with Asami Takai from Osaka, Japan.

In addition, the top ballet academy of Korea the Universal Ballet Academy will present new dancers.

The prima ballerina of Universal Ballet Seoul,  Hyek Kyung Lim, will be part of Korean delegation.

Each ticket costs $10 for children 3 to 12 years old and $15 for adults.

Tickets are available at Gourmet Chinese Restaurant in Garapan, “360” Restaurant in Susupe, EZ-Mart in Gualo Rai, Kevin’s Store in Chalan Kanoa, Glushko’s Academy on the 2nd floor of the Marianas Business Plaza, Susupe, and at American Memorial Park before the performances.
