“There’s no need to go far because you can make I-Mart, located in Tanapag as your one-stop destination,” store owner and II Jin Tour president Chang, Neung Sik yesterday said.
I-Mart first opened its doors to the public on November 1, 2005. This month, they are celebrating five years of providing excellent products and customer service to the people especially in Tanapag, San Roque and Marpi area.
From November 1 until November 30, I-Mart is offering huge discounts in grocery items as its way of giving back to the community for the support the store got for the past years.
Kids who come in with parents who shop at the I-Mart will also be treated to free ice cream for the whole month.
“We pride ourselves in our competitiave prices, fresh products, and excellent customer service,” Chang said.
On Saipan, grocery stores abound, but Chang said that their location away from the center of business activities is not a reason for them to increase the cost of their products.
“We give our customers low and competitive prices with regular promos and discounts because we want them to
make us their main destination when shopping for groceries,” Chang said.
I-Mart carries a complete line of grocery items including laundry supplies, kitchenware, fashion jewelry and novelty items, canned goods, baby supplies and personal hygiene, fresh fruits and vegetables, frozen meat and poultry products, baking needs, beverages including juices, beer and wines, and more.
I-Mart continues to strive in providing for all the needs of the customers in the island. Chang said that whenever a customer looks for something that they don’t have, they take note of it and see to it that the next time somebody asks for that item, it will be available.
“What we would like to let our customers know is that they are important, and we will get what they need,” Chang said.
I-Mart’s spacious alleys, well-stocked and well-arranged shelves make it convenient and easy for customers to get their grocery needs.
Chang said I-Mart is not his first store on Saipan. He opened different stores in Garapan, Chalan Laolao, Koblerville and Tanapag before finally opening I-Mart in 2005.
I-Mart carries products approved by the Women, Infants and Children program. The store also accepts food stamps.
It opens at 6 a.m. and closes at 1 a.m. every day. For inquiries, call 322-4949.
