Enjoy a refreshing morning run/walk and help raise funds for cancer awareness and patient support programs too. Registration starts at 5:30 a.m., and a $5 donation fee is requested.
All proceeds go to the Commonwealth Cancer Association.
Participants who complete the run/walk will delight in tasty sample giveaways from Micronesian Brokers, and coupons for delicious fat-free frozen yogurt from Scoops.

Book sale at Joeten-Kiyu library tomorrow
(The Library Friends) — The Library Friends will be having a book sale at the Joeten-Kiyu Public Library tomorrow, Nov. 13, from 7 a.m. to 12 noon.
Hardbacks books: $1 each; paperbacks: 50 cents each. Everything is priced to sell. Come look for some special bargains.
All proceeds benefit the Joeten-Kiyu Public Library, helping to improve general library offerings.

Military training
(EMO) — The U.S. military will conduct training south of Guam on Nov. 16-17 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Due to the danger imposed by this activity, Gov. Benigno R. Fitial is advising the general public, especially fishermen, commercial pilots and marine tour operators, to stay away from this area during the time and dates indicated.

USCIS honors veterans during naturalization ceremony
(USCIS) — U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services will honor our nation’s veterans today, Nov. 12, during a special naturalization ceremony at the U.S. District Court for the Northern Mariana Islands for 21 candidates.
The new citizens are originally from Switzerland, the Philippines, China, Taiwan and South Korea.
