According to the police report, at around 10:35 a.m. on Nov. 08, a group of Japanese tourists went to the Marine Culture to see the clams’ farm. One of the tourists identified as Yojiro Miyauchi left his bag inside their car and after a few minutes when he returned to the car he found out that his bag was missing.
The bag contained a video camera worth $1,200.00, a digital camera, $400; and eyeglasses worth $350.00.
Investigations disclosed that the car was unlocked when the tourists left their car at the Marine Culture grounds.
No suspects have been identified..
Meanwhile, police are searching for the suspect ofpetty larceny that happened in Shimbros International Incorporation where a case of beer was reportedly stolen.
Caley Mikel, one of the employees of Shimbros, complained to the police that Uchau Ngirangesil stole 24 cans of natural light beer worth $19.20 from the Shimbros’ truck while it was parked in Belechecl Store in Ngebekuu, Ngerbeched on Nov. 5.
Based on the report, Mikel together with his partner Skip Sakuma went to the area to deliver alcoholic beverages. While the two were inside the truck, Ngirangesil went to the truck and took a case of beer and fled away immediately.
The suspect was identified by Sakuma who then pinpointed the suspect to an off duty police officer who was in the area.
The case is under further investigation.
