With almost all restaurants on island opening from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. for lunch and from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. for dinner, LF Restaurant and LF Market owner Lin Jin Fong wants to serve those who want to eat anytime when they want to.
“It is hard to find a place to eat after the regular mealtimes on Saipan. There are some people who come out from work in the early hours of the morning, and others want an early or late breakfast, so we are here to serve them,” Lin said.
He has been operating LF Outlet on Saipan for almost two decades, but opening a restaurant is a new venture.
Lin said the economic crisis is not a challenge or a hindrance for him or for anybody else who wants to go into the food business.
“Everybody needs to eat everyday whether there is economic hardship or not, and we are here to cater to this need to eat,” Lin said.
LF Restaurant helps support local farmers by using locally grown, fresh vegetables and other ingredients for its dishes.
LF Restaurant has two Chinese chefs but a local chef will be joining the team very soon to prepare local dishes and delicacies.

To celebrate its grand opening, LF Restaurant offers an affordable, clean and delicious breakfast, lunch and dinner everyday at a very affordable price of $3 for three choices, including a serving of rice and soup.
As an added promo, every $30 purchase of food items at LF Grocery entitles a customer to a free breakfast, lunch or dinner from Sept. 6 to Oct. 8, 2010. For non-food grocery items, excluding alcoholic beverages, a $50 purchase is required to avail of the free meal.
Lin said food at LF Restaurant is budget-friendly, with choice orders from the menu starting from $8 and up. This is aside from the special $3 three-choice menu every day.
LF Restaurant accepts only cash payments for now but later, it will accept credit cards.
“We are working to improve our customer service, because we want to satisfy our customers,” Lin said.
Soon, they will be doing home delivery so customers can just phone in their orders and LF Restaurant will deliver the food to their houses or offices at minimal additional cost for delivery.
“We are inviting the community to come and try our delicious Chinese and local dishes any time,” Lin said.
The cool and comfortable ambiance of LF Restaurant provides any diner an ideal place not only to satisfy your food cravings but to pass the time drinking your favorite beer and other beverages at affordable prices.
LF Restaurant’s main room can accommodate about 20 persons but it has two private rooms that can accommodate six to eight people each for small group private gatherings or conferences.
