The Knights scored the first few kills in the game, putting them ahead of the Sharks. They were stopped in their tracks when Shark’s team captain Zion Alamer ruled the field with his overhand serves.
From an 8-7 lead, the Sharks quickly pushed in the offense, leaving them at 18-15 against the Knights.
Out of bound serves and passes from the Knights continue to feed the Sharks with points.
Kevin Rhee and Ayana Kawahara kept the Knights from scoring points, beating them at 25-17. The Knights played more aggressively at the third set, catching their opponents off guard with a few overhand serves. With Alamer leading the Sharks in the end, they swiftly finished the game at 25-19.
