AG is ‘wrong,’ says Borja

“Who would now feel comfortable that the attorney general advises the election commission when he is in favor of a candidate?”  Borja said in an interview with the Variety.

“It’s not fair. It’s biased,” the former lt. governor added.

He said his party and campaign committee will tell the Office of the Public Auditor and the election commission that “something should be done.”

“Personally, I will file a complaint,” Borja added.

But he said he is leaving the matter to his campaign committee which was scheduled to meet last night.

Buckingham, some staffers and prosecutors of the AG’s Office attended the gathering for former Rep. Joseph N. Camacho at the governor’s residence last Saturday night.

Frieda Demapan, the AG’s executive assistant, e-mailed staffers and prosecutors about the event, while Camacho, through his Facebook account, invited the public.
