Flores: Delivery of basic services will continue despite work hour cut

The 32 full-time employees of his office were already informed about the reduction of their working hours by 16 hours per pay period starting Oct. 1, 2010.

The mayor said his office may have to be shut down on Friday, but the field operation office in Lower Base will continue to serve the people.

He said residents can call 322-6270 if they need his immediate assistance.

The mayor’s office responds to any request for water, tables and chairs, road repairs and removing dead animals from public roads.

Flores said he is aware of the government’s financial condition and all its employees should help ensure that it continues to provide essential services to the public.
