Mobil started out strong with team player Ehroll Peredo clocking in 8 points for team Mobil gearing into the driver’s seat comfortably after teammate Jun Estolas secured their two point lead over Armatech by fending off 6 points for Mobil. Estolas scored 34 points over all for the entire game respectively.
Estolas’ teammate Leo Factor jumped into the wagon by breaching Armatech’s defense, Bruce Berline, and bagging 8 points for team Mobil keeping their secure 2 point lead over the Armatech by the time the siren rang to seal the first half of the game shut.
The Armatech’s got their act together whilst entering the second half of the game. Team player and coach Elmer Esdrelon slipped past Mobil’s defense speedily collaring 10 points in his herculean attempt to catch up to team Mobil.
Teammate Jomar Guiab did not Esdrelon singly take on Mobil by himself. Guiab was able to contribute 10 points to Esdrelon helping close the gap between the two teams and snatch the lead from right under Mobil’s guard. By the end of the third quarter Armatech lead by 3 points.
It was all or nothing in the fourth quarter as the weary driven Armatech and the strong knitted Mobil entered the last ten minutes of the championship game.
Team Mobil used Armatech’s fatigue to their advantage by slipping past its players from behind to repeatedly steal the ball.
Jun Estolas stole the ball from Elmer Esdrelon with less than 5 minutes left in the game. Estolas successfully bagged 2 downtown shots turning the game around. Armatech’s Bruce Berline repeatedly fouled Estolas on accident also giving him many charity shot opportunities while Jomar Guiab was penalized after five personal fouls against Marvin Rabauliman.
With less than 30 seconds left in the game, Coach Marvin Deocares of Exxon Mobil happily told his team players to take it easy after team Mobil secured a 13 point lead over Armatech. Mobil was heralded worthy champions after keeping an unblemished record of 10 wins and no losses.

The awards ceremony followed right after the championship game. The first award was given to fourth place that went out to team Oches, followed by Sparks who came in third place, followed by Armatech in second, and the top contenders were crowned champions team Exxon Mobil.
Best steals was awarded to Marvin Rabauliman. Best assist went home with Jomar Tumaquip, Best Rebound was awarded to Bruce Berline, Best Defense was taken home by Kirk Schuller, the Best coach was awarded to Marvin Deocares and the Most Valuable Player was awarded to Mobil’s Jun Estolas.
