Despite being topped by the Ferreras during the first half, the Cellular Pros offered an excellent offense in the final quarter. Firing several two-pointers near the end of the game, Cellular Pro’s Roy Hernandez and Rosell Ritual had the Ferreras running for their lead.
Hernandez utilized his free throws shots, adding five points for the Cellular Pros.
The Ferreras’ well balanced line up was the key to their victory, starting with James Abuy who landed two three-pointers early in the game.
Ferreras’ Noel David, Joseph Galulu, and Brad Demapan wasted no time with their shots in the second quarter, earning a combined total of 13 points.
Waiting to seal their first win that day, the Ferreras sent Rex Yabut and Kae Bernardo to play for the final quarter.
With the help of Wowie Abuel and Jhun Abedes in the rebounds, the Ferreras had no problems controlling the ball.
Their game was originally scheduled to play last week Monday, but was postponed due to rain.
