It was pure luck, she adds.
“I only have 10 cork entries and did not expect a chance against all the hundreds of other cork entries, but I’m so happy,” Manguiop told the Variety.

Pacific Wines and Spirits has been holding the annual wine rallies on Guam and Saipan for the past 11 years.
Bartenders use the corks from the wines they have sold as raffle entries during the four wine rallies within the four-month period.
Featured wines for the final rally at the PIC on Thursday night were Yellow Tail Cabernet Sauvignon, Yellow Tail Chardonay and Brown Brothers Patricia Shiraz.
Pacific Wines and Spirits marketing officer Orleyne Tabucanon said the overall turnout for the four wine rallies this year was good.
“Compared to the past years, we have made the wine rallies more exclusive to those in the food and beverage industry and have made the parties more controlled but the turnout is still good,” Tabucanon said.
She extended her thanks on behalf of Pacific Wines and Spirits to Hyatt, Aqua Resort Club, Mariana Resort & Spa and PIC as the venues for the four wine rallies held in June, July, August and September.
She also thanked Brad Ruszala for hosting the wine rallies.
