Sheen Metran, Dominic Reyes, Jomar Danas, and Josh Norita grabbed the winning momentum from the Rollers B in the first quarter after collaring an amazing 6 points each sending the crowd into a wild frenzy with the team displaying strong team work and executing fast action basketball plays.
Lawrence Deleon Guerrero was the lone player for the Rollers B after breaching past the Rollers A’s defense only twice to contribute 5 points to his team one of which was a charity shot after being fouled by Dominic Reyes.
By the end of the first quarter Rollers A were leading the way by 12 points, 28-16.
The Rollers B got its act together in the second quarter after Joe Ada scored 8 points swiftly for the team.
Teammate Savali Talalemotu jumped into the band wagon chipping in 8 points of his own working together with center man Ham Hambros collaring 6 points for the team; not only closing the gap made in the first quarter, but yanking the driver’s seat from the Rollers A by 9 points, 48-39 by the time the siren rang to seal the first half of the game shut.
That did not daunt the Rollers A however, and with the second half unraveling meant a second chance for them.
Brandon Aulerio of the Rollers A did not let this opportunity pass him by but instead, he used it to its full capacity.
Aulerio collared an amazing 11 points in the third quarter of the game to close the strong 9 point gap between his team and the Rollers B to a shaky two point lead at the end of the third quarter.
In the final ten minutes of the game, it was history for the Rollers B. The Rollers A did not only catch up to the opposing team but yanked the lead away from them as well.
Josh Norita scored 7 points for the Rollers A playing side by side fiercely with teammate Sheen Metran who bagged in 6 points to secure the win away from the Rollers B, 89-67.
