Harris Elementary School burglarized

According to police report, at around 7:15 am on Sept. 18, Andry Hiromi, security guard of HES called the police and reported the burglary incident that happened at the school.

Police officer Ubedei immediately responded and conducted investigation. Initial police probe shows that the suspects broke the office’s door using hard object and stole the projector and digital camera.

The incident was believed to be occurred between 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. on Friday or Saturday.

The school is now conducting inventory to determine the color, brand of camera and the projector.

The case is under investigation.

Meanwhile, another incident of burglary and grand larceny was reported in Nicolo’s Store in Topside on Monday. Nearly $3,000 worth of laptops was reportedly stolen by unknown suspects.

Based on the police blotter, unidentified suspects went to the store located at the 1st floor of TNO building in Ngerkesoaol between 9 p.m. to 9 a.m. on Sunday or Monday. Suspects destroyed the front door padlock and stole the four Black Compac Presano Q60 Laptop worth $2,000 and one Black HP Entertainment Laptop worth $900.

The case is pending for further police investigation.

On the same day, Sept 20 a female caller called the police and reported that the Golden Bay KTV Bar in Malakal was also burglarized.

According to police report, on Aug. 24 and Sept. 20 while the Bar was closed, an unknown suspect entered the building by destroying the front door. Suspect then carted away assorted liquors and cigarettes amounting to $1,055.

The case is ongoing investigation.
