The game started off with a feisty rivalry between Robledo Talania, Samson Fernandez, and Elmer Esdrelon who each contributed one downtown shot each and easy charity shots.
But one man boldly took them all down. He goes by the name of Dave Sablan. Bagging one downtown shot and back boarding the rest with a couple lay up’s he scored 11 points tying with team IT&E and later on, scoring 27 points for the team over all.
Team IT&E stepped their game up a notch with team player Esdrelon leading the way as he bagged 9 points total for that ten minutes giving IT&E a very fragile 2 point lead over team Hi-5.
As the siren went off to signal the end of the first half of the game, Hi-5’s coach took them outside furiously to device more game plans and to give his team a pep talk before entering the second half.
As third quarter opened, Sonny Lerio scored two downtown shots to contribute 6 points to team Hi-5 grabbing the upper hand of the game. As if that wasn’t enough, star player Dave Sablan then gets mightily pumped up bagging another 8 points for his team.
With new hope for the game, team Hi-5 finally got their act together to avoid an almighty downfall and mulling team IT&E on the court. Louis Abuel moved to score 10 points, 6 points of which were three point shots to bury team IT&E 6 feet under the ground by 14 points, 89-75.
