Sonics 73, Agape 39

Sonics’ Leo Galarse yanked the winning momentum from Agape after speedily collaring 6 points for his team in the first three minutes of the quarter.

With the help of his teammates they were able to keep players from Agape at bay exempting the two times that Pedro Castro slipped past them to bag in 4 points for Agape.

By the end of the first quarter, Galarse was able to secure a strong 10 point lead over Agape with the score at 16-6.

Jumping into the winning band wagon was team player John Villanueva fending off another 6 points for the Sonics playing side by side with Leo Galarse who scored another 6 points to widen the secure gap in the first quarter to a 22 point gargantuan crevice between the two teams by the time the siren signaled the close of the first half of the game.

With the unraveling of the third quarter came new hope for team Agape.

Reinold Ferrer steadily bagged 9 points for his team one of which was a charity shot after being fouled by the Sonics’’ Leo Galarse with less than five minutes left in the third quarter of the game.

Even though the Sonics were blowing team Agape out, they did not let their guard down throughout the game not even once.

Tristan Ecalnea and Jimmy Tudela both tallied in 6 points a piece in the last two minutes of the game keeping the deep crevice at 20 points.

Agape was then faced against time as both teams entered the last quarter of the game.

Agape’s coach momentarily told his players that they needed to get possession of the ball as much as possible executing the man to man basketball play.

The fatigue driven Agape complied with their coach but team Sonics just proved to be too good of a team to beat.

Team Sonics repeatedly stole the ball from the tired Agape players passing it down to a waiting teammate right under their basket for easy shots with the rest of the shots being easy undefended lay up’s and jump shots after Agape rapidly lost their stamina running back down to their positions to guard their posts.

Needless to say, team Sonics blew Agape out of town in the last ten minutes of the game. The final scored was tallied in at 73-39.
