THE deadline is drawing near! Artists across the Marianas are reminded that submissions for Crowne Plaza Resort Saipan’s Artist of the Summer Art Contest will close on Saturday, June 22, 2025.
This exciting opportunity is open to all artists aged 18 and above who wish to showcase their talent and creativity through a painting or drawing that celebrates the indigenous cultures of the CNMI. One exceptional artist will be named Crowne Plaza Resort Saipan’s Artist of the Summer.
The winning artist will receive a two-night stay in Crowne Plaza’s Ocean Front Suite, and their artwork will be prominently displayed in the Cultural Guest Lounge, spotlighting them as Crowne Plaza’s Artist of the Summer.
To enter, artists must submit one original artwork — group submissions are not allowed. All pieces must be the sole creation of the submitting artist and must be properly mounted or framed, ready for display. Each artist may submit only one entry.
Submissions must be delivered to the front desk of Crowne Plaza Resort Saipan no later than Saturday, June 22, 2025.
Artists retain full rights to their artwork. However, by submitting, artists agree to allow their work to be exhibited and photographed for the promotional use of Crowne Plaza Resort Saipan. All artwork will be returned to the artist after the exhibition concludes.
