U.S. Park Ranger Nancy Kelchner is hoping to see more children coming out and having more fun in this year’s Trunk or Treat which will be held in the parking lot of American Memorial Park
“As early as this time, we are urging various organizations and individuals to help us in preparation for the Trunk or Treat, and for the kids to look forward to the event which we hope will be another memorable one for them,” Kelchner said.
Last year, almost a thousand children and adults in various Halloween costumes went trick or treating in the parking lot of American Memorial Park. The children went home loaded with candies and other treats from the trunks of vehicles that were also decorated with Halloween themes.
Kelchner said she is again hoping to get an overwhelming support and response from the community just like in the past years.
