Hyatt Regency Saipan celebrates 30 years of authentic hospitality

On Dec. 1, 1980, Hyatt International Corporation started managing the plush 183-room resort; authenticity in hospitality was brought to the local tourism industry. Since then, Hyatt, along with its 260 employees has always aspired to exceed guests’ expectations and provide authentic hospitality. Today, the Hyatt, a 318-room resort, is the only international hotel on island.

Thirty years later, it is definitely fitting to celebrate the warm environment of this hotel with a Grand Cocktail Event marking its anniversary, to be hosted by Nick Nishikawa, the hotel’s general manager.

The invite-only event is expected to cater to about 200 guests sharing this very memorable milestone in CNMI’s tourism industry. The hotel is also giving homage to its employees putting forth loyalty and dedication in providing authentic hospitality all throughout its thirty years of business.

“Our employees are very important because one person cannot run a successful hotel,” said Nishikawa. Hyatt is known for providing extensive training and promoting personnel growth and development.

The Hyatt brand is also recognized internationally for its unique philosophy on people, service, and values. Hyatt also boasts three pioneer employees whom have been committed in providing authentic hospitality to its guests since the beginning. The hotel is also featuring a 30th Anniversary Commemorative Photo Gallery throughout its anniversary season which the public can enjoy.

From Nov. 15 to Dec. 15, 2010, Hyatt Regency Saipan will offer generous promotions on spa, dining, and accommodations. The hotel is also announcing its exciting raffle promotion wherein 30 room nights will be offered at a value of $30 plus 10 percent tax as a way of giving back to CNMI residents for its unwavering patronage.

Hyatt will continue its commitment to the local tourism industry by offering authentic hospitality for many, many more years to come.
