Ol Aces defeat Hi-5s

Trevor Ogumoro helped ignite the winning momentum for team Ol Aces after successfully bagging one jump shot, bagging two charities, and pushing through with a lay up shot to bank 6 points to the Ol Aces’ bank with teammate Luther Taylor chipping in his four pence to grab the lead by 2 points against the Hi-5s, 12-10 by the end of the first quarter.

Frank Macahito entered the second quarter to push past the Ol Aces three times in his major effort to close the gap between the two teams. Macahito was able to contribute 6 points to team Hi-5. Unfortunately for them, team Ol Aces was ready for the challenge. Gun man Trevor Ogumoro grabbed another 8 points for team Ol Aces in the second quarter to widen the secure two point gap to an unbeatable 9 points by half time.

It was history for team Hi-5 in the second half of the game as they continuously lost possession of the ball along with the inability to retain rebounds from missed shots.

Hi-5 was only able to score a total of 8 points whilst opponent Ol Aces ‘ Juan Maratitia took advantage of this lee way by navigating his way through Hi-5’s defense to input another 7 points on the scoreboard.

Teammate Ogumoro jumped into the fun and contributed his 6 points to blow the crevice to a gargantuan hole by 26 points, 57-31.

The fatigue driven Hi-5 could not keep possession of the ball in the final quarter as team Ol Aces repeatedly mulled them to the ground with lay ups and jump shots.

The Ol Aces dominated by 37 points, 79-42.
