THE Saipan Chamber of Commerce will hold its July General Membership Meeting on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, at Taga Hall, World Resort Saipan, a proud member of the Chamber.
The metting will feature important updates from key Chamber committees, including the Government Relations Committee, the Armed Forces Committee, and the Education and Workforce Committee. These updates will provide valuable insight into ongoing Chamber initiatives and advocacy efforts on behalf of the CNMI business community.
This month’s featured presentation will be delivered by Chamber member Northern Marianas Technical Institute. NMTech will outline its strategic goals to inform, engage, and align with the business sector, focusing on how it is addressing the CNMI’s workforce development needs. Through training programs, industry partnerships, and educational initiatives, NMTech is building a pipeline of skilled workers to support local economic growth. Attendees will learn how businesses can collaborate with NMTech to benefit from customized training and upskilling opportunities tailored to the evolving needs of the private sector.
The Chamber is also honored to welcome a special member presentation by Dr. Galvin Deleon Guerrero, president of Northern Marianas College. He will provide an in-depth update on the ongoing construction of NMC’s new Student Center and share other key developments across the college campus. He will present the vision behind NMC’s revitalized infrastructure, detail the progress made to date, and outline the next phases of construction planned in the coming months.
Lunch will be served at 11:30 a.m., with the meeting scheduled to begin promptly at 12 noon. The luncheon fee is $35 for members and $40 for future members.
