Letter to the Editor: Restoring hope and prosperity

federal government to organize our resources effectively and fixe our infrastructure so our government can move forward in planning and development for other improvement projects that will benefit our people and our business community.

Our newly elected leaders will have to restore PUBLIC TRUST and PUBLIC CONFIDENCE in government.

In moving our economy into a successful path for long-term recovery and a steady hiring process for people to have  sustainable long-term jobs, our newly elected leaders should work with our U.S. congressional delegate and our federal government in upgrading our minimum wage.

The challenges will be an uphill battle but if our elected leaders stick to their fundamental principles and their commitment to our citizens then they will accomplish their vision for our CNMI.

Your determination and endurance will produce outstanding and massive results if you work together with team spirit (Hafa adai)!

You all have the ability and power to make positive actions and you all can change the CNM for once and for all.

Remember, all big stuff is all small stuff. Here is an opportunity for all of you to succeed.

The real problem, however, is that everybody wants to be commander in chief; nobody wants to be a cadet. And this make our government stagnant because everybody wants to disagree. Nothing is accomplished because they’re playing politics with people’s lives. No one is righteous and no one is even close to perfection. Put politics aside and strive for excellence. Serve your people and improve their living conditions. Stop the monkey business. Stop the politics. Stop the madness. Stop the corruption. Wake up or shut up.
