Patrol Division Chief Ismael Aguon said that there will be check points for detection efforts and school and community presentation in an effort to identify possible drunk drivers, underage drinking and drug impaired drivers.
The Red Ribbon month is from October 23 through January 3, 2010.
Aguon said they will step up their efforts and work with parents and community in an attempt to prevent serious harm and deaths.
BPS is also asking the assistance of the public by being responsible citizens and to report any violators to police.
Aguon said anyone who has information of any crimes or suggestion to improve patrol activities can call 4885407.
