Ex-MHS teacher found dead in San Vicente

The Variety is withholding the victim’s name pending notification of his next of kin.

It was learned that the teacher moved to Kagman High School more than a year.

His body was found at about 8:30 a.m. behind the door of his  room on the second floor. He was slumped on the floor.

He was last seen alive on Saturday after an employee fixed the electrical safety box in his room.

A friend of the teacher, who is also renting a room at the resort, had been checking regularly on him, it was learned.

Since Sunday, however, he had not been responding to her phone calls or text messages.

Yesterday morning, she and the resort staff decided to knock on the teacher’s door, but there was no response.

Police were called in to open the door and it was then that they found his body.  Police are still investigating the incident.
