Voters were not able to choose wisely last Nov. 7, he added.
As an example, he cited the defeat of Rep. Tina Sablan, a senatorial candidate on Saipan.
“They are putting other incompetent people in the Legislature. I can only find one word to describe it and its ‘pathetic,’ ” he said.
Irresponsible voters who voted for incompetent leaders will get “nothing.”
Other members of the online group also expressed their disappointment with Sablan’s defeat.
“I was sad that Tina did not get elected. I voted for her and believed she
would have been an asset to the Senate,” Bud White said.
He still believes “Sablan will make a contribution where ever she wants to place her
efforts.”
Dianne Esplin said she was “depressed” by the election results but was “thrilled” that Sablan’s Open Government popular initiative was ratified.
This measure applies the Open Government Act to the Legislature.
