Office on Aging acting executive director Rose Mondala said they always look forward to the Thanksgiving lunch which the Rotary Club hosts every year.
“We are forever grateful to the Rotary Club and we enjoy the lunches they always prepare for us throughout all these years. They had always shown their support for us,” Mondala said.
Rotary Club president Ken Forrester said they have been holding the event for over 20 years now.
“This is one of the major events of the Rotary Club where we show that we care for our manamko’,” Forrester said.
He said the club appreciates the donations of the Rotarians in producing the lunch, and community services director Angelo Villagomez for organizing this year’s event.
Everybody partook of the huge Thanksgiving cake donated by the Rotarians.
Lucky winners in the raffle draws also went home with various prizes.
Mondalla said the manamko’ were scheduled to be treated to another Thanksgiving lunch at the Fiesta Resort & Spa Hotel yesterday.
