Zhang will visit Yap from Nov. 12 to 15. He will be accompanied by his wife and embassy secretary Huang Tao on this courtesy call to the Yapese government.
This stop will be one of many as Zhang, who is stationed in Pohnpei, is scheduled to visit Chuuk and Kosrae in November as well.
During his stay in Yap, the ambassador will meet with the governor and the lt. governor of the state government, and the speaker and vice speaker of the state legislature.
The Embassy of the People’s Republic of China looks forward to this visit as an expression of the Asian country’s consideration for the Federated States of Micronesia.
