Elmer Esdrelon and Jon Artates both fired three-pointers and led the Diamond Fixers to the higher ground during the first half.
Artates seven points while Esdrelon had 11 of his total points to keep the Fixers afloat by two points in the first half.
The Diamond Fixers however, spoiled a series of offense in third quarter erring in long passes. Esdrelon had many missed shots in the crucial part of this period and Noni Saipan grabbed the opportunity to take the lead.
Complaints over some referee calls marred the beginning of the second half as the Diamond Fixers struggled to close in.
With most of the crowd seemingly cheering for Noni Saipan the Diamond Fixers grabbed many rebounds but time were wasted big time due to bad passes.
Wowee Abuel determined the offense and gave Kelvin Bernardo the way to attack for nine of his 17 points in the second half.
Esdrelon missed the perimeter shot from what could have been a perfect play from JR Barrios in the middle of the third quarter. The ball went out-of-bound and Abuel stretched the lead with his third three-pointer of the game.
Jeremy Tamayo blasted from behind the arc two times and Noni Saipan pulled away to a 10- point lead.
Esdrelon narrowed the gap with his third three-point shot but Abuel fired again from the center outside the rainbow line to put the strong lead back.
Tamayo sizzled with nine more points in the fourth quarter to finish with 18 and Bart Demapan surged to have six of his eight points and Noni Saipan never trailed to secure their 83-78 win.
Advance Xterminators 99, Cholos 78
Jhun Estolas led the first quarter off with a three-pointer and banked nine points before he rested in the second.
Gil Gapor, Leo Factor and Kelvin Fitial boosted the Advance Xterminator with combined 19 points to stretch the lead, 52-35.
With Won Joo Jung sizzling with 12 of his 18 points in the third, the Cholos were trying to close in.
Estolas came back in action to fire another three-pointer and Junar Guiab went heat to pour-in 10 of his 18 points and the Xterminators buried the Cholos under 23-point lead.
Fitial dominated inside to add eight of his 16 points in the final period as Estolas and Brandon Talania kept the surge and the Xterminators never looked back.
Talania and Guiab finished with 18 points apiece and Fitial tallied 16 points, while Factor and Gapor chipped in 13 and 12 points respectively.
