This week, NMC will observe International Education Week.
Over 30 NMC students from different countries participated in the discussions and games during yesterday’s program.
Student clubs discussed how Korean and Chinese, among other cultures, have merged with Chamolinian culture.
Hyatt executive sous chef Eduardo Olarte and chef de partie Joseph Deleon Guerero made a presentation on how to make sushi.
ASNMC officers, for their part, encouraged their fellow students to approach them whenever they have school-related problems.
“Our job is to help you with your problems in school so don’t hesitate to approach us because we are always available,” Rodriguez told the students.
Other activities for the week include Cultural Fashion Day, which will be held today, Cultural Demonstration Day tomorrow, Island Cultural Day on Thursday and the closing ceremony on Friday which will be highlighted by musical performances depicting different countries and traditions.
