PDI personnel take H1NI1 vaccine

Travel agencies, he added, are among the “frontliners” and should  always comply with precautionary health measures, he added.

The Saipan Health Clinic administered the vaccine to 26 PDI personnel, including its management.

Terri Ellis, PDI administration supervisor, said they want to “maintain the safety of our industry.”

She added, “We don’t want tourists  worrying about their health while on Saipan. We want them to know that our personnel are H1N1 free.”

The Department of Public Health is giving free H1N1 vaccines, but PDI instead went to a private clinic and paid $10 for each shot.

PDI also caters to students from Japan who are here on a cultural exchange program, Ellis said.
