The suspect identified as Yan Ming Zhou, 40 years old. Based on the police investigation, at around 1:50 am, the bouncer of the Hai Yun Restaurant in Malakal called the police and reported that one of their customers was drunk and causing disturbance at their restaurant.
When police responded, Yan was found intoxicated.. According to the restaurant’s employees, the suspect threw cups on the floor and did not stop even if he was asked to leave the premises.
. Meanwhile, a case of burglary was reported in Ngesaol Hamlet. The victim who was identified as Oscar called to the police and reported that someone broke in his taking his DVD player.
Investigation showed that the unknown suspect stole the DVD player worth $85 and 3-films disc.
Police said the suspect forcibly entered into the victim’s room by destroying the mosquito screen roof of the house.
The case is still under investigation.
