“Mark Haag is not a current employee of the college,” he said in response to a letter from Taotao Tano leader Greg Cruz.
A supporter of suspended NMC President Carmen Fernandez, Cruz is questioning the integrity of interim President Lorraine Cabrera “for her actions are contradictory to what she states publicly.”
Cruz said Cabrera “publicly stated that she will no longer hire faculty members who have previous issues with the college…but [she] rehired Haag.”
Moran said NMC will accept applications from previous employees if they meet the eligibility requirements as stated in the vacancy announcements.
“Anyone who is qualified to apply for any vacancy is invited to apply,” he added.
