Melson Miko, PVA Community Support Service manager said the state’s long riverhasa fish sanctuary and it couldattract more tourists if the riverwill developed into tourist spot and become a historical site.
The Ngaremlengui state was one of the sixstatesvisited by the staff of PVA last month.
On February 25- 26,two more states are scheduled to be visited by the PVA. These are the states ofPeleliu and Angaur. While Ngiwal and Ngchesarwillbe visited inMarch.
The PVA will be visiting all 16 states, this project started in December 2009 and expected to end by March 2010.
“Aim of this state visit is to make the community be informed of what the PVA is doing inside and outside the Republic. We are also coordinating with the state officials regarding historical sites and tourist spots in every state which might need improvements.” Miko said in an interview.
Last week the PVA has visited Melekeok and Airai states.
