With back-up from center Guy Mosley who stunned the Bowlers with his ability to dunk, Camacho set the lead in the first quarter pouring in nine points.
He hibernated in the third quarter before continuing the scoring surge in the fourth with 10 more points.
Gilbert Cabaddu delivered 10 points in the second half.
Although a couple of his dunk attempts were thwarted by Richard Leong’s stiff defense, Mosley still made the best use of his height by connecting lay ups almost unopposed to finish with 13 points.
JR. Cadag and Jaby Banayat chipped in eight points apiece and Reynan Corotan who went lucky in the second quarter added total points.
Camacho and the Strikers’ burst in the fourth quarter continued to stretch the lead depriving the Bowlers the chance to close in.
Sparks 72, Managaha 63
Ichitaro Faisao tallied 19 points leading the Sparks to beat Managaha.
Faisao bombarded Managaha with foul-picking two-pointer for a three-point play and three consecutive twos to help the Sparks take the lead in the first quarter.
Tom Santos sizzled with eight of his 10 points and Edwin Camacho fired seven of his 16 points as they picked up where Faisao left off in the third quarter to secure their victory.
Sonics 92, Morales 51
Bryan Ajoste and Leo Galarse’s tandem went dynamic as they led the Sonics pound Morales, 92-51.
Ajoste rampaged with 10 points in the first half to set a wide gap and Galarse worsened Morales’ headache by stretching the lead further with his 10 points in the second half.
Leo Apelo fired six of his 12 points in the fourth quarter to help the Sonics stay strong leading to their victory.
