2 GTC classroom buildings now complete

THE construction of two new classroom buildings at Gregorio T. Camacho Elementary School has been completed and  they will soon be opened and used by  students, GTC officials said.

Construction began on Nov. 4 last year and the contractor was AIC.

“Obviously the teachers/staff and parents of GTC are excited about the nine new classrooms.  We feel the classrooms will be greatly conducive to learning by providing a safe, clean environment for our students and teachers,” GTC vice principal Martin Dalsaso said.

“We appreciate all the help we received for this project from various government agencies, including  [the Public School System], Education Commissioner Dr. Rita Sablan, the CIP office and Gov. Benigno R. Fitial for his help allocating funding for the two buildings,” he added.

According to Dalsaso, “the GTC PTA (SY 08-09 and SY 09-10) and GTC PTA president Mr. George Cruz were most instrumental in initiating this project and we thank them for all their hard work and dedication to GTC.”
