Saipan piano student wins at Guam music festival

Started in 2005 as a three-day band festival featuring adjudicated performances by bands from Guam’s public, private and military school, the Tumon Bay Music Festival is now a nine-day regional event serving as venue to musical performances that include choral,  hand bell choir, rock and jazz ensembles.  In attendance to the festival in the past included renowned musicians coming from all parts of the world.

2010 Tumon Bay Festival started on March 13.

The eldest of the three children of Celso and Nancy Chua, Zuriel started piano lesson when he was six.

While attending 7th grade school at Grace Christian Academy,  he continues his piano lessons at Keynotes School of Music located on Middle Road, Saipan.

He is always one of the star performers in every KSM recital which is held at least twice a year.

Zuriel’s teacher, Dinah Medina and all the other music teachers, students, management and staff of Keynotes School of Music are so proud of Zuriel’s accomplishment at the 2010 Tumon Bay Music Festival.
