Or how many times have your car been burglarized because burglars could see through the glass windows items worth stealing inside the vehicle?
It may be time for you to get your car windows tinted but if your budget is tight, here is good news for you.
Chris Castro, a former CNMI resident who has been living on Guam for several years, decided to relocate here and offer his expertise and services to the people of Saipan.
With years of experience tinting all kinds and models of cars, Castro said he understands the plight of car owners who go around with transparent windows.
“Having your car windows and windshield tinted costs a lot of money, and in these hard times it may not be a priority,” Castro said.
To meet the customers halfway, he is offering a promo price of $99 for a full body tint.
CJZ Car Tint opened in November last year, offering vehicle owners the “cheapest” tinting services on island, Castro said.
“This promotion runs only this month and I’m doing it to help other car owners get their cars tinted at a lower cost,” he said.
Low price does not mean low quality work, he added.
“I do tinting work professionally and you can expect quality in everything that I do,” Castro said.
Reasons to tint your car
Castro said people have different reasons why they want to tint their cars. In addition to health concerns, like blocking the direct rays of the sun and protecting your skin, having tinted windows and windshields can also protect you from accidents.
Tinted windows and windshields can also provide a cooler interior especially during the hot summer days.
The UV rays from the sun can be damaging and may cause skin cancer. Castro said the tint can help in cases of accidents by holding the pieces of shattered glass together.
In addition, Castro said tint can help you save money because it acts as a sunscreen that prevents your car upholstery from cracking and the color from fading.
Castro said he also makes recommendations on how the cars should be tinted.
“There are cases when customers want a full, dark tint on the windshield. I would discourage that because it may cause accidents when they cannot see other vehicles on the road clearly, especially in low-light conditions like night or rain driving” Castro said.
He does home service for car tinting if the customers can’t come to his shop.
“As long as the customers are satisfied with my work and are happy with the result, I am willing to meet them halfway,” he said. He can also remove old tint from your cars at no extra charge.
