George Concepcion scored 27 points to lead his team High Tide for a win on their first game match against team Ididers and will need only another win to be part of the championship game. High Tide relied on their fast paced game while giving a taste of their inside and outside game to discipline Ididers.
With regards to team Idid, It was only Gino Smau, who is a member of the National Development Squad, got his team close in a game when he shot for 20 points. However, the rest of the supporting cast could not see the rim clearly as they were not able to make a run at the final quarter to finally succumb to the High Tide basketball team with a final tally of 83 – 68.
On the other playoff battle, team MEDA and Kabong had to postpone their first game match from their best – of – three series Saturday, 13th of March and will be played on Monday.
