Letter to the Editor: Bennett/Del Rosario Jr.

There ought to be a more resounding way to educate the public about Article XII other than the way you two were going at it. If you are fighting in a battle by using your pens as machine guns, you will have murdered the real essence and end up with nothing to educate the public except waiting to see who wins the fight.

Mr. Bennett, stop trying to dictate to the people about what they ought to do and just stick to educating the public about the actual things written in the Covenant in relations to Article XII, and you Mr. John Del Rosario, stop speaking as if you are speaking in behalf of the entire indigenous descent because there are a lot of us too that are against Article XII.

We have to address the issue of Article XII in the most peaceful and amiable existence between the pros and cons of the subject. This is very important since some people want to live in  the philosophy of the Trust Territory times, and some also want to live practically in the philosophy of co-existing with other people of other nationalities in our peaceful island setting.

So please allow yourselves Mr. Bennett and Mr. Del Rosario Jr. to show a good example of character to our children. Article XII is really not just about how you view things, but it is actually about how everyone does! En fin serafin.
