Western Union’s forward Jun Bautista worked his way to another double double game when he scored 22 points and 15 rebounds to help his team earn another win against the PRA – Royal Cargo. Bautista and his crew did not give any chances to their opponent as they pounded them inside and outside in which the final tally was 83 – 56.
In other match, Surangel and Sons had to labor hard on the fourth period after finding themselves being down by as much as ten against the rowdy RAMS team. Arnold Undencimo, Deloy Pinggot, Melvin Parinas and with therest of the crew fortified their defensive stance that created a 12 – 0 run to tie the score at the start of the fourth. From there, Surangel did not look back to finish off hteir challenger with a score of 104 – 91.
Rangers team also came out as winners after beating HANPA Cardinals, 78 – 60, while Jaguar drubbed team AXE – Choppers, 85 – 61.
Ten teams fight for this year’s crown; the defending champions from Western Union, second runner up Rangers, third runner up Surangel and Sons, fourth placer Jaguar, HANPA – Cardinals, Ilocandia – Bulls, PRA – Choppers, RAMS, and two new teams completes the list of participating team such as the Guardians and Royal Cargo.
