On February 4, 2010, the Ministry of Health (MOH) received $366,222 from USDHHS to provide funding for its community health centers program. And on February 23, USDHHS issued another grant to the MOH, this time for $24,530, to fund its tobacco and diabetes project.
On February 25, the WHO also gave to MOH $3,000 for the funding of its tobacco cessation workshop.
PCS gave a total of $53,687 to Palau Environmental Quality Protection Board (PEQPB) on February 16 to help fund its Ecosystem-based management program. The UN also provided the PEQPB a $12,000 grant on February 17 for the funding of its ozone-depleting project.
The total grant that the country received so far is $459,439.
