The Variety visited the DPS’s Criminal Investigation Bureau yesterday afternoon.
A detective who declined to be named said that they were investigating the matter.
The victim, Larry Gonzales, 38, remains unconscious and in critical condition at the Commonwealth health Center.
His eyes almost popped out after he was hit on the head by a yet to be identified object.
According to Gonzales’ friends, the victim was outside a house in Kagman when he was assaulted at around 5 p.m.
Gonzales’ family was already informed about the incident and a priest visited the hospital on Tuesday to bless the victim.
His friends are seeking help from the Philippine Consulate General and are appealing to members of the community who may have any information about the incident to call Crime Stoppers at 234-7272 or the police at 664-9000.
