11 complete youth training program at Saipan mayor’s office

“They worked hard and were very dedicated to their work,” he said.

He said the students were “willing to learn.”

Martha Sablan, the mayor’s human resource manager, said they are hoping the students will continue to work with them.

The 11 students comprised the second batch for the training program which started on Aug. 3 and ended yesterday.

Nicolas Juan Cabrera, who was assigned to the mayor’s nursery division, said he learned a lot.

“We assisted the mechanics in working with the engines,” said Cesjay Brandon Echalico, who was assigned to the mayor’s field office in Lower Base.

The other participating students were Tiffany Villanueva, MaryAnn Babauta, Nora Vincent, Sylvestre Selepeo, Jirelle Maralit, Dhale Pasadas, Francisco Camacho, Milton Lizama and Shawn Taitingfong.

Sablan said they submitted the evaluation report on the students’ performance to the Workforce Investment Agency last week.

The students, she added, also evaluated their supervisors.
