Koblerville Neighborhood Watch Task Force gets support from Team Rectify

Rose Taman Ada-Hocog, Task Force block captain,  yesterday said they collaborated with Team Rectify in a cleanup campaign in the village’s main highway area.

Yesterday, the group conducted a cleanup drive in the Koblerville basketball court area.

The volunteers also trimmed the bushes on both sides of the road.

Team Rectify’s president Don Teregeyo said they want to give back to the community.

“We want to let the CNMI know that we are more than just a car club,” the group’s vice president Don Castro said.

It was the group’s secretary, Meco Sablan, who came up with the idea to work with the task force.

He said they responded to the invitation of the task force to help provide community services and join the anti-crime campaign.

Ada-Hocog said they also get support from Joe Kaipat’s cleanup brigade, the Dandan Neighborhood Watch Task Force headed by Frank B. Camacho and from parolees.

Every week the group gathers to perform community services in the village, she said.
