Yarobwemal ends drought in youth bowling

But last Sunday, the only girl in the alley finally ended her three-month thirst for the Prince/Princess of the Lanes crown.

Yarobwemal topped the monthly roll-off at the Capital Bowling Center besting the four other young bowlers with an impressively wide gap ahead of MJ Aldan.

Two-time Prince of the Lanes monthly title holder, Zack Cruz did not see action for last weekend’s roll-off and Marion McKenzie, another tough contender on the lane fell behind.

Yarobwemal tallied 598 pin falls to win the first place. After slightly dominating Game 1 eking out 149 pin falls, she struggled in Game 2 knocking down 136 pins to join new comer, Marcel McKenzie in the bottom.

Yarobwemal climbed to the tough in Game 3 beating Marion McKenzie big time. Although Aldan had a come-back mood in the final round, he came short to beat Yarobwemal finishing with 581 pin falls.

Nikko Gutierrez settled for the third place knocking down 557 pin falls.
