The NMI’s basketball body said that the idea of creating coaches’ group is being backed up by Basketball New Zealand oach Kevin Smith.
With Smith’s help and direction of BANMI President Elias Rangamar, the meeting will pave the way for the creation of the CNMI Coaches Association.
Besides this, several matters will also be discussed as part of BANMI’s strategic development plan. This includes player and coaching development, instillation of a talent identification system and coaches accreditation scheme.
The foundation of national age group development squads and unique style of game will also be tackled in the meeting.
