THE United Filipino Organizations will hold the annual Pistang Pinoy festivities in celebration of the 127th Philippine Independence Day on June 8, Sunday, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., in the Marianas Business Plaza parking area in Susupe.
Members of the CNMI community are invited to this event, which will showcase the rich cultural heritage of the Philippines through a variety of entertainment, games, group and individual performances, food, and non-food items from local vendors.
The festivities will include raffle ticket giveaways, with exciting prizes awarded every hour through “Roleta, Spin-to-Win” style draws. This year’s grand prize is a round-trip ticket (Saipan-Manila/Manila-Saipan), courtesy of Super Tech, Inc., in addition to the usual 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes.
For the grand prize raffle, the winning ticket holder must be present at the venue to claim the round-trip ticket. The grand prize draw will be the last of the day, with the winner announced just before the program wraps up at around 6 p.m.
